Book signing

Pastor Denise McGinnis-Brown of Haigos Ministries will host a book signing for her book, “There Is Therefore Now No Condemnation.”

It will be held at 3 p.m. July 27 at the Alachua County Library Headquarters Meeting Room B at 401 E. University Ave.

The book addresses the common belief that many Christians have about grace and how they justify sinful behaviors through their misunderstanding of Romans 8:1.

The book is available at Amazon.com and will be available at the signing.

Convention

Cohen's Temple First Born Church of the Living God Inc. will host the Jacksonville District Auxiliary Convention.

It will be held at 7:30 p.m. July 24-26 at the church at 503 NE 15th St.

It will feature guest speakers, anointed praise and worship and fellowship with churches from throughout the district.

Revival

TDC Ministries International Inc. will host another “2013 Fresh Fire Revival.”

It will be held at 7 p.m. through Thursday at Antioch United Holiness Church at 2516 NE 8th Ave.

The speakers will be Pastor Alfred Camps of Mighty Wings of Glory Camp Ministries Inc. and Minister Arabella Robinson of New Life Center, both in Gainesville.

Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church will host Vacation Bible School.

Miracle Word of Faith Ministries Inc. will host a benefit program for Pastor Dr. Bertha Kelly of Voices of Truth Ministries in Gainesville.

Mount Moriah Baptist Church is in need of vendors for its annual health fair.

It will be held July 28 from 12:15-2:15 p.m. after an abbreviated worship service from 11 a.m.-noon at the church at 718 SE 11th St. It will be free for vendors and those who want to attend.

The Jerusalem Baptist Association will host its annual Founder's Day service to commemorate 139 years of existence.

It will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the association at 8810 NE Waldo Road in Fairbanks. The theme is “Gratitude for our Past and Hope for the Future.”

The speaker will be the Rev. L.C. Hunt, moderator of the association.

Pastor's anniversary

Mount Pedro Baptist Church will continue to celebrate the sixth anniversary of its leaders, Pastor Christopher C. Stokes and First Lady Dolly Stokes.

Greater Bell United Methodist Church will host Vacation Bible School.

It will be held at 7 p.m. beginning Monday through July 26 at the church at 21024 N. State Road 235 in Brooker. The theme will be “Be Glad and Rejoice Forever — Hip Hop Hope, Jesus Makes Me Glad!”

The teachers will be Judy Wilson, Vanessa Merriex, Veronica Sheppard, Margaret Jones, the Rev. Mary Jackson of Greater Bell and Prophet John Bradley, pastor of Grove Park Community Church.

Revival

The Evangelistic Team, or E-Team, of Newberry will host a revival.

It will be held at 7:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday through July 27 at Greater Prayer Temple Church of God in Christ at 330 Pine St. in Bronson.

The services will be: Tuesday, a night of praise, prayer and testimonials, and July 24-27, sermons by Minister Reginald Nattiel, Evangelist Rosa Nattiel, Evangelist Carolyn Rushing and Evangelist Phyllis Stephens, all members of the E-Team.
