HOOVER, Ala.— Florida’s season-opening game Aug. 31 at Florida Field against Toledo will be played at 12:21 p.m. and televised by the SEC Network, the SEC announced Tuesday at SEC Media Days.

Florida fans will face two games to open the season that will require plenty of sunscreen with the game at Miami the following week kicking off at noon and televised by ESPN.

The Gators have faced a mixed bag in their last five openers with games as early as noon (2010 vs. Miami of Ohio) and as late as 7 p.m. (2011 vs. Florida Atlantic and 2009) against Charleston Southern.

This will be the first meeting between UF and Toledo. Florida holds a 9-1 record against teams currently competing in the Mid-Atlantic Conference with Toledo.
