Afternoon storms expected all week

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to pour down Monday but will lighten up starting Tuesday.

Afternoon showers are predicted each afternoon this week, according to the National Weather Service.

A 60 percent chance of storms is expected Monday and a 50 percent chance later that evening. Temperatures will be cooler than the rest of the week with highs reaching 88 degrees and lows falling to 70 degrees.

A 30 to 40 percent chance of storms is expected starting Tuesday and continuing each day on into the weekend.

Storms will likely rain down in the afternoon hours.

Temperatures will range from the low 70s to the low 90s all week.
