Traveling takes people out of their comfort zone, someone once said. But, oh, the rewards the traveler reaps for the bother. For more than 10 years, our readers have shared with us glimpses of the places they visit and wonders they see on their travels around the world.

Their postcards arrive from the seven continents and from the Florida Keys. The rest of us delight in their brief words of greeting or breathless stories cramped onto not enough writing space.

Every postcard is published — even if it takes awhile. Here are a few from recent mailings. If you're traveling, we would love to hear from you. Drop us a line and please tell us your name and the city in which you live. Mail postcards to: The Gainesville Sun, 2700 SW 13th St., Gainesville, FL 32608.
