The Chicago Bulls announced Wednesday the signing of 2013 NBA draft picks Tony Snell (20th overall) and Erik Murphy (49th overall). Per team policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
Murphy, a 6-10, 230-pound forward from Florida, capped a four-year career in Gainesville where he earned First Team All-SEC accolades in his senior year after he posted 12.2 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.4 apg, 0.69 bpg and 0.64 spg in 26.4 minutes per game. He also shot .516 from the floor, an SEC-best .453 from 3-point range (72-159) and .784 from the free-throw line.
Snell, who will wear No. 20, and Murphy, who will wear No. 31, will make their first appearance in a Bulls uniform later this week at the NBA Summer League 2013 in Las Vegas.
