No. 17 Andre Hal

Why he's No. 17: In his first year as a starter, Hal was named second team All-SEC last season after recording 48 tackles, defending a team-high 14 passes and intercepting two passes. Hal came up huge in one of the Commodores' biggest victories in year. He intercepted two passes and had a combined 68 yards in returns to set up two touchdowns in Vanderbilt's 41-18 rout of arch-rival Tennessee. Hal also played one of his best games of the season in Vanderbilt's victory over North Carolina State in the Music City Bowl, breaking up three passes. Hal is an excellent cover corner who has a knack for breaking on the ball. He's also a threat returning kicks.
