The High Springs Community Theater’s production of “Nunsense” continues its run as the first musical staged by the theater in seven years through July 7.

FILM:

The original version of “The Day the Earth Stood Still,” the 1951 movie about aliens arriving on Earth to warn human beings about their use of violence, is screened Wednesday as the first sci-fi selection in this summer’s Classic Film Series at The Wooly event space.

THEATER:

“The Perfect Party,” A.R. Gurney’s comedy about a former professor who attempts to throw the perfect party and have it reviewed by a New York City newspaper, enters its final week of performances at the Acrosstown Repertory Theatre.
