Police have arrested a man they say touched the buttocks of a female shopper in a department store.
The 42-year-old man was seen staring at the woman in the Target store at 3970 SW Archer Road on Wednesday afternoon, according to a Gainesville Police Department report.
Store staff said the man intentionally followed the woman and then touched her, the report said.
The man was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of battery and was booked into the Alachua County jail, where he remained Thursday in lieu of $150,000 bond.
