This is the second part of a five-part series produced exclusively for Gatorsports.com ranking the top 25 games involving SEC teams in the 2013 college football season.
No. 20. Mississippi State vs. Oklahoma State
Aug. 31, Houston, Texas
It's quite a chore for a defense to start the season by trying to stop the Cowboys' attack. It will be interesting to see if the Dan Mullen offense is up to the task of matching Okie State point for point.
Early line: Oklahoma State by 14.
No. 19 Arkansas at Florida
Oct. 5, Gainesville
The last time these two teams played, Caleb Sturgis kicked a game-winning field goal so Florida could escape. This is a rare matchup between the two teams, only the 10th ever. Arkansas has beaten Florida only once — in the 1982 Bluebonnet Bowl.
Early line: Florida by 17.
No. 18. Arkansas at LSU
Nov. 30, Baton Rouge, La.
There have been some classic games in the annual late-season battle and there is so much unknown right now with Arkansas getting a new coach and LSU losing so much personnel. But you just get the feeling you'll be watching this one.
Early line: LSU by 18.
No. 17. Alabama vs. Virginia Tech
Aug. 31, Atlanta, Ga.
Nick Saban likes a tough opener to keep his team focused in the summer, but Tech is coming off an uncharacteristic 7-6 season. The focus will be on the quarterbacks, but the difference may be ACC defenses struggle against two-back attacks.
Early line: Alabama by 17.
No. 16. Louisville at Kentucky
Sept. 14, Lexington, Ky.
Mark Stoops has the Kentucky faithful in a frenzy usually reserved for basketball, and if he can pull off a win against the 'Cats' biggest rival, they may put a statue up. But Charlie Strong has plenty of talent back from the team that thrashed Florida in the Sugar Bowl, including Heisman Trophy candidate Teddy Bridgewater.
Early line: Louisville by 14.
