A man who police say was urinating on a woman’s car was arrested after he got into a fight with the woman and another man.
Slane Talbot Ronchetto, 30, of 321 SE Third St. was in the parking lot of the Chemistry Lab Building on the University of Florida campus at 2 a.m. Saturday when the incident occurred, according to the University of Florida Police Department report.
Ronchetto began urinating on the woman’s Ford while she and another man were inside. When the woman got out of the vehicle to confront him, Ronchetto, who is 6-foot-7 and 265 pounds, grabbed her by the hair and pulled her to the ground, the report said.
The other man then left the car and confronted Ronchetto. Both men were wrestling on the ground, with Ronchetto still holding onto the woman’s hair, when police arrived. A UPD officer told the men to stop or she would use her Taser, but the fight continued. The victims told the officer that Ronchetto was the instigator of the fight, and she hit Ronchetto with one Taser shot.
The woman was bleeding from a cut lip, police said. Neither Ronchetto nor the male victim was hurt.
Ronchetto was arrested on two counts of battery and one count of criminal mischief.
