More rain, muggy weather in the air this week

The weather pattern that has settled over the Gainesville area — hot, muggy days giving way to afternoon showers — will continue into this week.
Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 91, with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Tonight, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9 p.m. Overnight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 68 and a southwest wind 3 to 7 mph.
Tuesday will mirror Monday with a high near 92 and a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. The overnight low will be around 71.
Wednesday the rain chance increases to 30 percent, mainly in the afternoon, with a high near 93. There is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 71.
The rest of the week follows the same pattern into the weekend, according to the weather service.
