A Lake City man was killed Wednesday night when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a car, according to a report.
Ernest Creel, 68, was driving a 2013 Suzuki motorcycle on Baya Avenue at 9:15 p.m. when Michael Pate, 33, of Live Oak, pulled onto the road from Perry Avenue, according to a Lake City Police Department report.
Creel, who was not wearing a helmet, collided with Pate’s 1994 Toyota Camry. Creel was transported to UF Health Shands Hospital at Lake Shore, where he later died from his injuries, the report said. Pate was uninjured.
