Lady Rams star signs scholarship

Another senior student-athlete at Eastside Senior High School has signed a scholarship to take her athletic and academic talents to the next level. Jurnee Pettigrew, a star on the Lady Rams’ varsity basketball team for the past three seasons, signed to play college basketball at Weber International University in Babson Park in Polk County, a member of The Sun Conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Pettigrew, 5’9”, averaged 13 points and 9.8 rebounds per game while practically playing all positions last season for the Rams. She said she will play either small or power forward for Weber and plans to major in sports management.
