Santa Fe splits spring game

ALACHUA — Santa Fe hosted spring football on Friday against Monticello Jefferson County and Lafayette.

In the first half, A.J. Mack led the Raiders to a 22-0 win over Jefferson County. Mack ran for 117 yards and two scores. Santa Fe's Bryce Sherman also chipped in 66 yards and a touchdown.

In the second half, the Raiders fell to Lafayette 14-7. Lafayette quarterback Brycen Lee scooped up a fumble by his fullback, Lee Jones, and ran it in for the deciding score.

Santa Fe's Korey O'Conner connected with B.J. Williams on a screen pass that went 70 yards for a touchdown. O'Conner finished with 101 yards passing.
