Dinners and trip
Dayspring Baptist Church will host an Old Fashioned Barbecue Dinner Sale.
It will be held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. May 31 at the church at 1945 NE 8th Ave. The cost will be $10 for chicken and $12 for ribs. Dinners will consist of yellow rice and a side of either collard greens, baked or green beans or potato salad, with either cornbread, a roll or a slice of bread, and cake and a drink.

Also, the church will sponsor a trip to the Full Gospel Fellowship Conference to be held July 3-5 in Louisville, Ky. The trip will be open on a first come, first served basis. Monday is the deadline to pay the $50 non-refundable deposit and $25 conference registration fee to reserve a seat.

Launching Out in the Deep will host its 2013 Gospel Outreach Explosion Tent Revival Service.
