St. Francis defeats Oak Hall in spring game

TALLAHASSEE — St. Francis and Oak Hall traveled to Tallahassee on Friday to play spring football at John Paul II High School.

The home Panthers defeated St. Francis 28-0 in the first half of play.

In the second half, St. Francis took down crosstown rival Oak Hall, 14-7, capped off by a 65-yard touchdown reception by Austin Tucker on a pass from quarterback Nick Oelrich. The Wolves' second score came on a 1-yard keeper by Oelrich.

Monroe Thornton's 100 all purpose yards and kicker Lexi Scott's two extra points also highlighted St. Francis' win.
