Preview of men's golf at NCAA South Regional

What: NCAA South Regional. Six regionals will be played this weekend, with 13 teams at three of the locations and 14 at the remaining three. The top-five finishers at each site will earn invitations to the NCAA Championships, which will be played at the Capital City Club in Woodstock, Ga.

Where: Baton Rouge, La.

When: Today-Saturday

Of note: Florida is looking to advance to the NCAA Championships for the 13th consecutive season, the longest current streak in the country.

UF’s lineup: Seniors Tyler McCumber, T.J. Vogel and Tommy Mou, sophomores J.D. Tomlinson and Eric Banks.

Quoting UF coach Buddy Alexander: "We haven't played in a while and the last time we played, we didn't play particularly well. That sticks in your craw a little a bit. I do think we are a very capable team. I think they are fired up, ready to play. Hopefully, that's the case because this is when it matters."
