Diva Conference

Dayspring Baptist Church will host its 2nd annual Diva Conference.

It will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the church at 1945 NE 8th Ave. The theme will be "Pressing for a Blessing: Going to Another Level." The registration fee is $25.

Services will be: Friday, "Friday Live;" Saturday, empowerment workshop, and Sunday at 9:30 a.m., Sunday School, and 10:30 a.m., morning worship.

Revival

Launching Out in the Deep will host its 2013 Gospel Outreach Explosion Tent Revival Service.

It will be held at 7:30 p.m. May 19 to June 1 at Zion Temple AME Zion Church at 114 SE 14th Lane.

The guest speakers will include Apostles Lorenzo Crawford, B. Coney, Michael Goins, Lance Hayes, Austin Lancaster, George McCray Sr. and R.G. Williams.

The revivial is being co-hosted by Believers in Christ Outreach Ministries World Wide Inc., Christ Anointed Outreach Ministries Inc. Hagios Ministries Inc., Christian Coalition Family Church, all of Gainesville, and Light of the World Ministries in Ocala.

Anniversary

Landmark Holy Temple of God will celebrate its choirs' anniversaries.

It will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the church at 1220 NE 23rd Ave.

The anniversary is for the Brotherhood, The Camps Crusade, Devotional and Youth choirs. The service will feature performances by choirs, soloists and others.

Upper Room Church of God in Christ will host the COGIC Greater Gainesville District Convention.

Women's conference

The Gainesville District Church of God by Faith will host its 14th annual Women's Conference.

Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Gainesville Church of God by Faith at 735 SE 15th St. Advance registration is not required, but the fee is $25. The theme will be "Women of Purpose: Building the Kingdom One Woman at a Time."

On Saturday at 11 a.m., there will be a banquet at the Best Western Gateway Grand Hotel at 4200 NW 97th Blvd. Tickets are $30.

The conference speaker will be Evangelist Argatha Gilmore of Watson Temple Church of God in Christ in Lake City. The banquet speaker will be Minister Margaret Y. Gainey of Jerusalem Church of God by Faith in the Monteocha community.

Friendship Baptist Church will celebrate the 11th anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. R.C. Slater.

The Women of Worship Ministry at Prayers By Faith Family Ministries will present "The Power of Praying Women."

First Morning Star Baptist Church will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its pastor, Pastor Jerome Lennon.

It will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke at 14950 NW MLK Blvd. in Alachua. The Fun Walk, Run and Roll will begin at 8:30 a.m. The health fair will feature blood pressure screenings, health information, door prizes, a bounce house and food.
