JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville man faces up to life in prison after being found guilty of sex charges involving young girls.
The Florida Times-Union reports 59-year-old William Permenter was convicted last week on charges including lewd or lascivious molestation, sale or showing obscene material to a minor and sale or providing alcohol to a minor.
The State Attorney's Office says the girls were ages 9, 12 and 16 at the time.
According to prosecutors, Permenter gave the girls wine coolers to get them drunk and then forced them to watch pornography. They say he inappropriately touched one of the girls and forced her to touch him.
Circuit Judge James Daniel will sentence him on June 3.
