MIAMI — Police are looking for three people they say shot a man in the stomach after robbing him of his gold chain.
The victim was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was in extremely serious condition late Sunday.
The robbery happened around 7 p.m. Sunday after the man in his 50s parked his truck and headed toward a shopping area.
Police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes told The Miami Herald the suspects demanded the man's gold chain. They snatched it from his neck. As they fled, one suspect shot the man.
No further details were immediately available.
