Margate man dies after crash on I-75 in Columbia County

A 34-year-old Margate man was fatally injured and three others were hurt Wednesday night in a crash on Interstate 75 in Columbia County, according to a report.
Robert Jason Vetitoe, 37, of Pensacola was driving north on the highway in the left lane at 8:45 p.m. when his vehicle veered off the road and struck a guardrail around mile marker 414, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
The car then traveled back across the highway and hit a tree.
Vetitoe was airlifted to Shands at the University of Florida, where he was in serious condition. Passenger Jovon Robinson was taken to the Lake City Medical Center, where he died at 7:04 a.m. on Thursday. The report stated that he was not wearing a seatbelt.
Ethan L. Anderson, 28, of Pensacola was also taken to Lake City Medical Center.
