Spirit of Faith Christian Center will host “Celebrate A Mom Weekend.”
Events will include a free car wash for mothers from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and city-wide worship experiences at 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Sunday at the church at 1414 NE 23rd Ave. There will be special gifts and giveaways for mothers.

The Gainesville District Church of God by Faith will host its 14th annual Women’s Conference.
Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. May 16-17 at Gainesville Church of God by Faith at 735 SE 15th St. Advance registration is not required, but the fee is $25. The theme will be “Women of Purpose: Building the Kingdom One Woman at a Time.”
On May 18 at 11 a.m., there will be a banquet at the Best Western Gateway Grand Hotel at 4200 NW 97th Blvd. Tickets are $30.
The conference speaker will be Evangelist Argatha Gilmore of Watson Temple Church of God in Christ in Lake City. The banquet speaker will be Minister Margaret Y. Gainey of Jerusalem Church of God by Faith in the Monteocha community.

New Bibleway Baptist Church will host a Pre-Mother’s Day Celebration.
It will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at 2611 NW 68th Ave.

Jesus is the Light Christian Center will host its Prophetic Word services.

The FOCUS summer program at Showers of Blessings Harvest Center is accepting applications for enrollment for children and teens in kindergarten through 12th grade.
