Charles Perry Partners Inc. was recently awarded a contract for $3 million to construct North Florida Regional Medical Center's MRI/CT/Angio Renovations and Addition by the Hospital Corporation of America. Designed by Earl Swensson Associates Inc. of Nashville, Tenn., the multi-phased project will provide two new Angio Labs, an MRI Suite, a 64-Slice CT Suite and support space within the 8,670-square-foot renovation and a 500-square-foot addition.

The Ronald McDonald House of North Central Florida recently received 55 gallons of Benjamin Moore paint valued at approximately $3,200, which will be used for a paint makeover of offices, guest rooms and the entryway in the two-story building.

Capital City Bank Group recently named Don James, president of the northwest Alachua County region, the winner of the 2012 Godfrey Smith Award, which is presented each year to recognize an associate who exemplifies a spirit of excellence and philanthropy.

James has served the company since 1984, and under his guidance the northwest Alachua team has consistently ranked among the highest performing markets in the bank.

Gainesville's City Beautification Board recently recognized Gainesville Regional Airport's Phase III renovations, which include the airport's facade, with an award in the Institutional Facilities category. Terminal Renovations Phase III, designed by Reynolds Smith and Hills, began in June of last year and final touches were completed in February with a construction cost of $1.3 million.

Michele Martin, former counsel at Smith, Gambrell & Russell LLP, recently announced that she will be joining Pastore & Dailey LLC to lead the firm's Florida office in Gainesville.

Martin, a board-qualified certified public accountant and member of the Florida Bar, received her juris doctor as well as bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from the University of Florida.
