Alachua County school officials are asking the community to comment on a plan to improve student achievement and meet other goals.

The two forums will be at 7 p.m. May 9 at Rawlings Elementary School, 3500 NE 15th St.; and at 7 p.m. May 14 at Finley Elementary School, 1912 NW 5th Ave.

Sandy Hollinger, former deputy superintendent for Alachua County Schools, will facilitate the meetings.

Information from the two forums will be incorporated into the plan, which is expected to be completed in July.
