A Lake City man was critically injured Friday afternoon when he drove his motorcycle into the back of a car in Bradford County, reported the Florida Highway Patrol.
Joseph Rizzi, 59, was taken to Shands at the University of Florida following the accident that occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on State Road 100 and Southwest 75th Avenue, FHP reported in a press release.
Rizzi was driving a 1996 Harley-Davidson west on SR 100 behind a 1999 Pontiac driven by Ashley Ozruh, 20, of Starke. FHP stated that Ozruh was slowing to make a left turn onto 75th Avenue and was hit by Rizzi.
Ozruh and her 10-month-old daughter had minor injuries as did a passenger on Rizzi's motorcycle, Danielle B. May, 48, of Lake City, FHP reported.
Charges are pending. Neither Rizzi nor May were wearing helmets, the release states.
