Regional quarterfinal schedules
(all games start at 7 p.m.; Class 1A opens with regional semifinals on Tuesday)
Class 5A, Region 1
Who: Pensacola West Florida (20-5) at Suwannee (14-9)
What's next: Suwannee would host Panama City Rutherford or Crawfordville Wakulla in Tuesday's regional semifinals; West Florida would play at Rutherford or host Wakulla.
Extra bases: The host Bulldogs, winners of their first district title in softball, are making their third straight appearance in the regional quarterfinals. This is a rematch of last year's regional quarterfinal, which Suwannee lost at West Florida 3-2. The Bulldogs haven't had a playoff win since 2005.
Class 3A, Region 1
Who: Daytona Beach Father Lopez at No. 4 P.K. Yonge (25-2)
What's next: P.K. Yonge would travel to Oviedo The Master's Academy or play host to Oak Hall in Tuesday's regional finals; Father Lopez would travel to The Master's Academy or Oak Hall.
Extra bases: The host Blue Wave, ranked No. 4 in Class 3A, are in their 18th straight playoff and reached the regional finals last year for the first time since 2004. P.K. Yonge hasn't reached the state tournament since 2003. The Green Wave are making their second straight playoff appearance and lost 15-0 to P.K. Yonge a year ago.
Who: Oak Hall (14-8) at Oviedo The Master's Academy (10-9)
What's next: Oak Hall would play at P.K. Yonge or host Father Lopez in Tuesday's regional semifinals; The Master's Academy would host P.K. Yonge or Father Lopez.
Extra bases: The visiting Eagles are making their fifth straight playoff appearance and seventh in the last eight years and are looking for their first postseason win since 2011. This is a rematch of last year's regional quarterfinal, won by The Master's Academy, also known as the Eagles, 8-3. Former Gator slugger Brittany Schutte is in her first season as coach at Oak Hall.
Class 6A, Region 1
Who: Middleburg (9-13) at No. 4 Columbia (23-4)
What's next: Columbia would host Orange Park Oakleaf or Jacksonville Atlantic Coast in Tuesday's regional semifinals; Middleburg would host Atlantic Coast or travel to Oakleaf.
Extra bases: The host Tigers are in their fourth state playoff in the last five years and are looking for their first state tournament berth. All four of Columbia's losses have come against Gainesville-area teams — three to P.K. Yonge and one to Buchholz. The visiting Broncos are in their first postseason since 2010.
Class 6A, Region 2
Who: Inverness Citrus (17-11) at Gainesville (17-8)
What's next: Gainesville would play at Lecanto or host South Lake in Tuesday's regional semifinals; Citrus would travel to either Lecanto or South Lake.
Extra bases: The host Hurricanes are in the state playoffs for the first time since 2008, the last time they won a district title, and are looking for their first postseason win since 2006. Citrus, also known as the Hurricanes, are in their first playoff since 2009 and last won a playoff game in 2003.
Class 4A, Region 2
Who: Bushnell South Sumter (9-11) at No. 2 Bradford (25-2)
What's next: Bradford would travel to Mount Dora or host Keystone Heights in Tuesday's regional semifinals; South Sumter would travel to Mount Dora or Keystone Heights.
Extra bases: The host Tornadoes, who opened the season 15-0, are in their second straight playoff and fourth in the last seven years. Bradford has never advanced beyond the regional semifinals, where it has fallen in six of its previous seven playoff appearances.
Who: Keystone Heights (12-11) at Mount Dora (18-4)
What's next: Keystone Heights would play at Bradford or host South Sumter in Tuesday's regional semifinals; Mount Dora would host Bradford or South Sumter.
Extra bases: The visiting Indians, which reached the state 4A tournament a year ago, are making their 15th playoff appearance in 16 years. Last year in the state semifinals, Keystone Heights lost to Florida High 1-0. The host Hurricanes are in their first postseason since 2009.
