Cornerback

Progress report: The Gators were feeling so good about their situation at cornerback that they moved Loucheiz Purifoy to wide receiver for the first seven practices, and there appeared to be no drop-off. Marcus Roberson seems to have elevated his game. Now that Purifoy has returned to defense, UF has potentially two of the best corners in the SEC.

Spring surprise: Brian Poole has impressed the coaches with his size and ability. His upside is tremendous, according to Muschamp.

Spring star: Marcus Roberson has gotten bigger and stronger and has been one of the Gators' most consistent playmakers on defense.
