A closer look at what we learned about this upcoming group of Gators from spring practice. Wide receiver Progress report: The search for a dynamic wide receiver seems to be narrowing. Loucheiz Purifoy showed big-time ability in his seven practices at wide receiver and could be a huge factor next season in the passing game. Quinton Dunbar is another player who has continued to make strides and now has the look of a go-to wide receiver. Latroy Pittman also had a strong spring and has started making plays like he did at this point last year. Spring surprise: The Purifoy experiment has been deemed a success. He showed he has the ability to make plays on offense, just like he already does on defense and special teams.

Spring star: Dunbar picked up right where he left off last season and is developing into a consistent playmaker.
