Progress report: One of the goals this spring was to improve the downfield passing game, and coach Will Muschamp said earlier this week that has happened. Jeff Driskel has made the kind of progress they were expecting in terms of making plays in the passing game and executing the offense, according to Muschamp and Brent Pease. Behind Driskel, the competition is still on for the No. 2 role.

Spring surprise: Tyler Murphy. He's made some nice throws in the downfield passing game. He's also made some plays running the ball.

Spring star: Jeff Driskel is clearly more comfortable in the offense with the experience he gained last season and he's making better decisions.
