Four University of Florida faculty members have been named as Elizabeth Wood Dunlevie Honors Term professors for the 2013-14 academic year.

They are Susan Gillespie of anthropology, Panos Pardalos of industrial and systems engineering, Jack Putz of biology, and Lou Ritz of neuroscience.

Gillespie will offer a course on consumer culture. Pardalos will offer a course on data mining in society. Putz will offer a course on the nature and culture of Florida. Ritz will offer a course on spirituality and health sciences.

The professorships are made possible by an endowment from UF graduate Elizabeth Wood Dunlevie. Nominees are submitted by department chairs and selected by Honors Program Director Kevin Knudson and a committee of UF teachers.
