Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating a missing and possibly endangered Alachua County woman.
Susan Smith, 44, was last seen by her live-in boyfriend at their home on North County Road 225 at 4 a.m. Thursday.
Smith had reportedly been on pain medication, suffering from sleep deprivation, had recently been experiencing hallucinations, according to her boyfriend.
Authorities say the boyfriend woke up to find Smith was missing and searched their 40-acre property for hours before calling the Alachua County Sheriff's Office for help at around 10:25 a.m. Thursday.
Smith left behind her cell phone and car keys, deputies said. She is 5-foot-3 and weighs 110 pounds. No clothing description is available. Deputies are urging anyone with information about Smith's whereabouts to contact the Sheriff's Office at 955-1818.
