DALLAS — On Thursday morning Kevin Brockway and I loaded into a taxi to come to Dallas. It may have seemed silly in that the arena where Florida will play tonight is three miles from the hotel where we were staying, but who ever said the NCAA is logical?

I’m glad we made the 20-minute ride because the Omni where we are staying is tremendous. Here’s a first — a TV in the mirror of your bathroom. Now my wife wants one.

It was creepy to ride past the grassy knoll and the Texas Book Depository on our way in. I went back to walk around the plaza and it’s just eerie. I guess I’ve seen so many documentaries and movies and read so many books about the JFK assassination that to see it for real is a little mind-blowing.

I’m probably going to go visit the museum today. Late game tonight so there’s no telling when you’ll get tomorrow’s postcard. Hey to all my friends.
