Bank robbery suspect on the loose

Shortly after noon on Friday, a man robbed Capital City Bank at 4040 NW 16th Blvd in Gainesville, police said.
An unidentified male entered the bank, approached the only teller working at the time, and stated he was robbing the bank, according to the Gainesville Police Department.
The man then demanded cash from the teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of money.
The robber then fled the area. There is no suspect vehicle information available, and the robber did not display any type of weapon, police said.
The robber is described as a white male in his 50s, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-10 and of medium build. He was wearing a tan button-down long-sleeve shirt and dark pants.
