PROJECTED STARTING PITCHERS: UF right-hander Jay Carmichael (3-1, 1.88) will make his third Friday night start in a row and face Rebels junior right-hander Bobby Wahl (6-0, 1.67). … Florida righty Jonathon Crawford (0-4, 5.67) is set to go on Saturday against Ole Miss righty Mike Mayers (2-2, 2.83). … Ole Miss right-hander Chris Ellis (1-1, 9.00) will start on Sunday against a Gator pitcher to be announced.

NOTES: Carmichael, a freshman, registered his first SEC victory last week, when he out-dueled Vanderbilt left-hander Kevin Ziomek. … UF catcher Taylor Gushue (.265) has belted three home runs in the past five games. … Florida outfielder Harrison Bader is batting a team-high .325 over the past 10 games. … Second baseman Josh Tobias has a .353 (6-for-17) average in six SEC games. … Ole Miss catcher Will Allen, a Buchholz graduate, is hitting .250 with a home run and 10 RBIs. … The Rebels' Stuart Turner leads the SEC with a .460 batting average.
