PALMETTO BAY, Fla. — Miami-Dade police are asking for the public's help in finding out who killed a South Florida music promoter as he pulled into his driveway last summer.
They say 44-year-old Frederick Duberry was fatally shot in the early morning hours of June 14 outside his Palmetto Bay home. On Tuesday, his family pleaded for help in finding the person who killed Duberry.
The Miami Herald reports police released surveillance video from a camera mounted on Duberry's house shows a man wearing a skull cap walk into view, holding what appears to be an assault rifle. The shooter then jumped into a car that sped away.
The Herald reports Duberry went by the name Keith Duberry in his music career.
Detective Javier Baez encourages anyone with information to contact police.
