Gainesville Church of God by Faith will host a car wash and fish dinner and garage sale.
The fundraiser will be held from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. April 6 at the church at 735 SE 15th St. The cost of the dinner will be $7.
Proceeds will benefit the church's annual Academic Scholars & Graduate Luncheon to be held on April 27 at the Paramount Plaza Hotel.

4 Him Alone Community Ministry will present "The Life of Christ," a cantata that will detail some of the chronological events in the life of Jesus Christ.
It will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Mount Carmel Baptist Church at 2505 NE 8th Ave. The price of admission is one bag of nonperishable food.

Spirit of Faith Christian Center will host its annual City-Wide Easter Celebration.
It will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Phillips Center on the University of Florida campus. Doors will open at 10:15 a.m. Child care will be provided for ages 1–10 and the LifeSouth bloodmobile will take donations.
Featured will be musical and theatrical performances and also candy, costumed characters, a fire truck, bounce houses and more.

Emanuel Baptist Church will celebrate Resurrection Day.
Services will be held Sunday beginning at 6 a.m., followed at 9:30 a.m. with Sunday School and the 11 a.m. worship service featuring an Easter program by the youth.

TDC Ministries International Inc. will host the 2013 Fresh Fire Revival and the 2013 Kingdom Promotion Gospel Explosion.
The revival will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Antioch United Holiness Church at 2516 NE 8th Ave. The speaker will be Pastor Denise McGinnis-Brown of Hagios Ministries Inc. in Gainesville.
The gospel explosion will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. Saturday at the D.R. Williams Fellowship Hall at 618 NW 6th St. Featured will be comedy, a DJ, rapping, singing, stepping and more. Also, a 26-inch flat-screen TV will be given away.
