PROJECTED STARTING PITCHERS: Florida freshman Tucker Simpson (1-1, 4.91 ERA) will make his sixth start of the season. In his last outing, the right-hander earned his first collegiate victory which came against North Florida last Tuesday. FSU counters with sophomore right-hander Luke Weaver (3-0, 1.00), who was the winner in FSU's 4-1 triumph at McKethan Stadium on March 12.

NOTES: This will be the seventh annual clash between Florida and FSU at The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville during the regular season, with the Seminoles holding a 4-2 edge. … Outfielder Harrison Bader had two of the Gators' five hits in the first meeting with FSU on March 12. Bader's eight-game hitting streak was snapped on Sunday afternoon, a stretch in which he was 13-for-33 (.394), with four runs and four RBI. … Florida shortstop Casey Turgeon is batting .303 and enters the week on a seven-game hitting streak. … Catcher Taylor Gushue has belted three home runs in the past four games for the Gators. … Florida State is coming off a 4-1 week which included a series victory at home against the top hitting team in the nation in the Georgia Tech.
