Ushers anniversary

The Ushers' Ministry at Dayspring Baptist Church will celebrate its anniversary.

The celebration will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church at 1945 NE 8th Ave.

Sunrise service

Mount Moriah Baptist Church will host an Easter sunrise service.

It will be held at 8 a.m. March 31 at the church at 718 SE 11th St. A breakfast benefit will follow the service. Tickets are $10.

Sunday School will take place at 9:45 a.m., followed by the annual Easter program at 11 a.m., which will feature recitations and skits.

TDC Ministries

TDC Ministries International Inc. will host the 2013 Fresh Fire Revival and the 2013 Kingdom Promotion Gospel Explosion.

The revival will be held at 7 p.m. March 28 at Antioch United Holiness Church at 2516 NE 8th Ave. The speaker will be Pastor Denise McGinnis-Brown of Hagios Ministries Inc. in Gainesville.

The gospel explosion will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. March 30 at the D.R. Williams Fellowship Hall at 618 NW 6th St. Featured will be comedy, a DJ, rapping, singing, stepping and more. Also, a 26-inch flat-screen TV will be given away.

Seven sayings

The Breakfast Ministry will host "The Seven Last Sayings of Jesus on the Cross."

It will be held at 7 p.m. March 29 at Friendship Baptist Church at 426 NW 2nd St.

Celebration

Victory Temple Ministries will host its First Fruit Day of Celebration.

It will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at the church at 908 SE Williston Road.

The speaker will be Elder Shawn Berry of Titus Harvest Dome Spectrum Church in Jacksonville.

Also, at 6 p.m. Sunday, there will be a candlelight and communion service.

Singles conference

The Singles' Ministry at Compassionate Outreach Ministries will host its Singles' Conference 2013.

It will be held Saturday and Sunday at the church at 320 SE 43rd St.

Services will be: Saturday, 9 a.m., for singles 18 and older only, breakfast, and at 10 a.m., workshops, followed by lunch, and Sunday, 10 a.m., open to everyone, the speaker will be Elder/Psalmist Fondrea Lewis of Newark, N.J.

The Church of God by Faith Inc. Gainesville District will host its Quarterly Assembly.

Services will be held Friday through Sunday at Gainesville Church of God by Faith at 735 SE 15th St.

Services will be: Friday, 7:30 p.m., Home Mission; Saturday, 6:30 p.m., evening worship, and Sunday, 10 a.m., Sunday school and 11:30 a.m., morning worship.

Gospel fest

Soldier Girl ENT will present Gospel Funk Fest.

It will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the Gainesville Lions Club at 3315 N. Main Terrace. Tickets are $15.

Featured will be recording artist Digitz Blessed #7 and Barbara Walker, both of Gainesville, Cliff Patrick of Jacksonville, and other comedians, praise dancers, rappers and singers. Door prizes will be given away.

Prayer breakfast

The Alachua County Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widows will host a prayer breakfast.

It will be held from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Bartley Temple United Methodist Church at 1936 NE 8th Ave.

The speaker will be the Rev. Mary Mitchell, pastor of Bartley Temple. Tickets are $10. For those who cannot attend, the organization suggests a youth or senior citizen be sponsored to attend the event.
