Florida dropped one spot to No. 14 in the final AP men's college basketball poll.
The Gators (26-7) won two of three games this week, beating LSU and Alabama before falling 66-63 to Ole Miss in the SEC Tournament finals.
Florida earned a No. 3 seed in the South Region of the NCAA Tournament and will open play Friday in Austin, Texas against No. 14 seed Northwestern State. Tipoff is 7:27 p.m. ET on TruTV.
The Gators reached the NCAA Tournament for the 13th time in 17 seasons under coach Billy Donovan.
“This time of year, to be able to get in the tournament and be able to play in the tournament, I think is exciting,” Donovan said.
Florida is ranked No. 12 this week in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll.
