NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tonight, the bracket will be unveiled.

It will almost be a relief. For two months, I’ve been one of those guys. I’ve checked all kinds of versions of bracketologists to see who’s in and who’s out, to see where they have Florida, to see which SEC teams are projected to be in.

I’m almost going to miss it.

Almost.

Because after tonight, we get to fill out our bracket. And it should be singular. You can’t fill out 10 of them and then tell me who you have still alive in Nos. 1, 8, and 9.

I was talking Saturday night to several people about the SEC and how I have to wait to see who the teams from this league play before I know how far I will have them going. Florida last year was a prime example.

It’s all about the matchups. The Gators drew Virginia last year and as it turned out, the Cavaliers couldn’t have beaten Florida if they played them 10 times. Then they get Norfolk State, which partied like it was 1999 after it beat Missouri.

That was a good draw for Florida. There have been years when they didn’t get good draws and made early exits.

Tonight, we find out.
