Northwood YMCA Summer Camp 2013: Come aboard the YMCA Summer Day Camp, where summer is a game. Each week will be a turn through a different board game brought to life, complete with challenges and activities. Specialty camps, such as flag football, dance, basketball, painting and experiments, are held 9-11 a.m.
Dates: Summer Break.
Hours: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
Cost: $135/full time, member; $155/full time, nonmember; $85/part time, member; and $105/part time, nonmember. Fees include breakfast, lunch, and weekly field trips.

O2B Kids Summer Camp: At O2B Kids Summer Camp, children enjoy the freedom to try new things, meet new friends and learn life-long skills. The fun and caring staff encourage, challenge and support your children all summer long at three convenient locations.
Dates: June 10-Aug. 16.
Hours: 9 a.m.-6 p.m., with early drop-off and late pick-up at select locations.
Ages: Incoming first- through eighth-graders.
Cost: $189/week, member; and $199/week, nonmember.

Skate Station Funworks Summer Action Camp: Campers participate in skating, rock climbing, miniature golf, go-karts, batting cages, group activities and field trips.
Dates: June 8-Aug. 19.
Hours: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Location: Skate Station Funworks, 1311 NW 76th Blvd.

Blue Wave Summer Camps: Various camps available, including Little Waves Summer Camp (ages 4-5), provide a developmentally appropriate environment for young children through outdoor activities, art, music/movement, water days and local field trips. The camp runs June 24-Aug. 2. Blue Waves Kids Camp (K-sixth grade) consists of supervised activities including arts, crafts, field trips, tournaments, games and fun. The camp runs June 24-Aug. 2. At the three-day Mini Camp (K-seventh grade), campers do arts and crafts, cooking, games and sports. The camp runs June 5-7.
Hours: 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (full time/mini camp) or 8 a.m.-noon/noon-5:30 p.m. (half time).
Cost: $150/week, full time; $85/week, half-time; and $90 for the mini camp.

Get Up, Get Out & Get Moving!: Offered by the City of Gainesville, this camp is action-packed, filled with exciting experiences and focuses on giving back to the community. Campers are involved in sports, learn the importance of developing healthy habits, explore the beauty of the springs and learn about the importance of environmental stewardship. "Summer of Service" is the theme for the summer.
Dates: June 17-Aug. 16.
Hours: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
Ages: first-sixth graders.
Costs: A two-week session costs $90.50 for residents and $135.50 for non-residents. A one-week session costs $45.25 for residents or $67.75 for non-residents. Discounted rates are available for those who qualify.
Location: Albert "Ray" Massey Recreation Center, Eastside Community Center, Clarence R. Kelly Community Center, Martin Luther King Jr. Multipurpose Center and Porters Community Center.

Girls Place Inc. Summer Day Camp: Girls are empowered to become courageous,
strong and self-sufficient and are inspired to celebrate their minds, hearts and physical well-being. Campers are engaged in structured, age-appropriate activities meant to enhance their overall wellness, including field trips and community service.

Hours: 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (early drop-off available at 7 a.m. and late pick-up available at 6 p.m. for an additional fee).
Ages: Girls 5-18.
