George makes All-SEC second team

Florida senior Jennifer George was named second-team All-SEC and also selected Tuesday to the All-Defensive team by the league coaches.
George averaged 11.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. She leads UF in blocks (45), steals (53) and double-doubles (9).
Teammate Sydney Moss was named to the All-Freshman team. Moss, the daughter of NFL wide receiver Randy Moss, averaged 10.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
Kentucky’s A’dia Mathies and Tennessee’s Meighan Simmons were named Co-Players of the Year and Bashaara Graves named Freshman of the Year. Tennessee’s Holly Warlick has been named Coach of the Year.
The No. 9-seed Gators (17-13, 6-10) face No. 8-seed Arkansas (18-11, 6-10) at noon Thursday in the SEC tourney.
