Florida fans -- and the media -- will have a chance to catch an early but brief glimpse of the Gators when they open spring football practice in a little less than two weeks.

Breaking from recent tradition, UF coach Will Muschamp is opening two early practices to the public, on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16. The Friday practice will from 4:35-6:35 p.m., while the Saturday practice is from 1:05-3 p.m. Both practices will be on the Sanders Football Practice Fields next to the O'Connell Center and McKethan Stadium.

The Gators begin spring practice March 13. The day before, UF will hold its annual Pro Scout Day, which is open to the public, with gates 2, 6, 15 and 18 opening at about 10:30 a.m.

UF's spring concludes with the annual Orange & Blue Debut at 1 p.m. in The Swamp on April 6.

Students, Gator Boosters, Alumni Association members and F Club members all receive free admission to the spring game. A limited supply of free tickets is also available at Florida Farm Bureau agents' offices. Tickets are currently available for $5 in the Gator ticket office at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium or can be ordered online at http://www.GatorZone.com/tickets.
