The Florida-Minnesota meet airs tape-delayed on SUN Sports March 10 at 9 a.m. Florida finished 2013 Southeastern Conference regular-season action with a 196.975-196.075 win over No. 23 Kentucky in front of an O'Connell Center crowd of 4,321. Eight collegiate-best marks were raised or matched, including near-perfect scores of 9.975 by sophomore Kytra Hunter and freshman Bridget Sloan. Hunter equaled her vault best of 9.975 for the second time this season and the fourth time of the last 10 team competitions to take that event title. On the next rotation, Sloan upped her bars best to 9.975 to take her third consecutive win on the event. King equaled her season-best of 9.95 to take her first floor exercise win of the season. Florida did have trouble on the balance beam and was forced to count a fall for the second time this season. Stageberg and Dickerson led off and anchored the beam lineup with 9.875s to share the event title. The win was the first beam title for Stageberg of her collegiate career. The title was also the 67th event win for Dickerson, moving her into sole possession of fourth on Florida's career chart. No Gators went all-around versus Kentucky, marking the first time UF didn't field an all-arounder since February of 2011 After her collegiate-best marks in vault (9.95) and bars (9.975) versus Kentucky, Sloan claimed her third SEC Freshman Gymnast of the Week honor. She's picked up league honors four times in 2013, claiming the Week 5 SEC Gymnast of the Week and Week 1, 6 and 8 Freshman of the Week. Florida has at least one gymnast among the nation's top 15 in each of the four apparatus. Sloan is No. 2 in the uneven bars (9.915) and No. 7 in vault (9.90). Dickerson is No. 2 in vault (9.915) and No. 11 in floor exercise (9.890). Mackenzie Caquatto is No. 2 in balance beam (9.890) and Hunter is No. 7 in bars (9.985). None of Florida's all-arounders have the required number of competitions (which must include three road competitions) to be ranked.
