Sun burning bright as cold front clears

The sun will be burning bright today as a cold front that brought gusty winds to the region cleared out.

The National Weather Service is forecasting high temperatures in the low 70s today, dipping into the 40s tonight. No rain or hazardous weather is in the forecast.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 72. Light west wind becoming northwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 42. West wind around 6 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 70. Breezy, with a light west wind increasing to 11 to 16 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 40. Northwest wind 7 to 9 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 62. Breezy.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 55. Breezy.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54. Breezy.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 30.
