A Columbia County school bus carrying 31 students collided with another vehicle Monday morning on State Road 247, according to a report.
No students were hurt and the driver of the second vehicle received minor injuries, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
The bus was leaving the parking lot of the S&S store at SR 247 and County Road 242 around 8 a.m. just as a 2002 Mitsubishi was heading south on SR 247.
The bus tried to turn left and collided with the car, the FHP reported.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, April M. Rhodes, 27, of Lake City, received minor injuries. Neither the bus driver — Lonnie Rentz, 71, of Lake City — or the 31 middle and high school students on the bus were hurt.
