Forecast: Warm and sunny today, but chance of rain this weekend

Today is set to be warm and sunny, but clouds and the likelihood of rain will increase over the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

While no rain is forecast today, showers are possible tonight. A 30 percent chance of rain is forecast for Saturday, bumping up to 40 percent Sunday as a cool front moves in.

The high temperature will be in the low 80s today and Saturday, dropping into the 70s on Sunday.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Light southeast wind becoming south 6 to 11 mph in the morning.

Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers before 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 60. South wind around 6 mph.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Breezy, with a south wind 7 to 16 mph.

Saturday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. Southwest wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Sunday: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before 9 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 75.

Sunday night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a low around 56.

Monday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 78.
