The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will hold a public meeting on the agreement for the cleanup of the Koppers Superfund site on Feb. 27.

The meeting will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Stephen Foster Elementary School, 3800 NW Sixth St.

The public will have an opportunity to provide input on the consent decree recently filed in federal court. That document is the legal agreement binding Beazer East Inc., the firm legally responsible for the remediation of the Koppers site and contaminated off-site properties, to a cleanup plan the EPA approved in 2011.
