SEMINOLE — Law enforcement officers and residents of one Florida town helped free an alligator that got stuck in a storm drain.

The Tampa Bay Times ( ) reports the alligator got its snout stuck in the roadside drain in Seminole on Friday.

A concerned citizen contacted the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. When deputies arrived they found the 8-foot gator had slipped entirely into the drain.
