Precious Pearls win brain bowl

The Precious Pearls, a group for teen girls sponsored by the Mu Upsilon Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., won the 14th annual Santa Fe College Center of Excellence Brain Bowl county-regional competition held Saturday at Santa Fe. The Precious Pearls will now advance to the state competition this spring with a chance to earn full college scholarships.
